World Sick

Broken Social Scene have made available the first track from their upcoming album release. Forgiveness Rock Record  will be available May 4, 2010 on Arts & Crafts.

The group recorded the album with a relatively lean six core-members.  No Feist?  No Emily Haines? No Amy Millan? No K-Os? The first track entitled "World Sick" is available for the cost of an email. Kevin Drew takes lead vocals on this track which is not unexpected. This listener is hoping that with this core six, that Brendan Canning gets the frontman nod for his share of tracks as in my humble opinion, his BSS Presents album was far superior than Drew's.

The Olympics

Pretty much missed the jumping off point on this, but its the Olympics here in Vancouver. Fuck Buttons have the aptly named unofficial Olympic anthem that has been repeating on my ipod all week.
